For the second year in a row, Mennonite Church Canada and MAX Insurance subsidized the attendance of  business and church leaders to the Global Leadership Summit – a simulcast leadership development event broadcast to over 20 locations across the country by Willowcreek Canada (Oct. 18-19).

Over 70 people from across the Mennonite Church community in Canada attended. For many of the registered participants, a follow-up webinar called “Through an Anabaptist Lense” helped contextualize the Summit in a Mennonite perspective (Oct. 24) and highlighted key learnings.

The webinar featured a panel discussion to identify focal points and challenges for Mennonites. Online participants were invited to ask questions and offer additional insights. Panelists: (l-r) Cheryl Pauls, President, Canadian Mennonite University; Christine Ens, Director of Membership & Marketing, Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce; Dave Bergen, moderator and Executive Minister, Mennonite Church Canada Formation; Jamie Arpin-Ricci, pastor of Little Flowers Community, an inner city Winnipeg congregation; and Don Rempel Boschman, pastor of Douglas Mennonite Church, a suburban Winnipeg congregation.
