Greetings from the offices of Mennonite Church Canada!

This final edition of long-form Equipping follows on the heels of Easter weekend - a time when many people contemplate endings and beginnings. In his letter to the churches Tim Froese reflects on moving from death to life. The Your Church at Work items focus on “Children leading the way” and the “flourishing” Anabaptist movement in South Korea. Willard Metzger writes that “Imaginations are unfolding” in young people who are feeling called to be new leaders in the church.

It feels appropriate for our long-form Equipping to end on this note of hope – and a note of anticipation as Equipping Weekly becomes the new way to deliver some of the same content you’ve come to expect. We hope you will continue to share items from Equipping Weekly with your congregation.

Thank you, and may you and your congregations be blessed in this Eastertide season.

Grace and peace,
Janelle Thiessen van Esch
